Templates

In SiteBuilder terminology, a template is a set of pre-designed text and graphics on which web sites can be based. Templates are usually created for specific topics, such auto industry, medicine, biology, etc.

Through the SBM interface, you can perform the following operations on templates:

Note: You cannot upload new templates to the SiteBuilder panel through the module interface. You can only handle existing templates. To upload a new template, access the SiteBuilder administration panel and click Templates.

To activate a template means to allow users to build their web sites using this template. Deactivated templates remain installed on SiteBuilder, but they are hidden from SiteBuilder Wizard's users. Therefore, to allow users to based their web sites on a template, you should activate it.

To activate/deactivate or delete a template:

  1. On the Module Management page, click Templates. The Template Management page opens.

    This page displays a list of templates installed on SiteBuilder. You can view the status (activated, deactivated), ID, and category for each template.

  2. Select the check box corresponding to the template you want to activate/deactivate. You can select several templates at once.
  3. Click one of the following buttons below the list:
